Another day and another garden to visit! We are seeing so many beautiful gardens in this year’s Atlanta Connoisseur Tour! This garden I named the White Garden and as we will see I think the name fits………I love white in the garden and I like garden rooms and this garden had both, so let’s go first by the wood pile! Mind the trellis~

That matches the trellis here………

Our first entertainment area was found just beyond the first white trellis……..

with a lovely etched out sitting area……

Look at this table! I wondered if the table had been glass topped at one time and replaced with the gravel? What a great idea!!!!!

I’ve seen so many bee/bug houses in the Atlanta gardens, even this one, that I decided to get one for my garden too!

The first garden room is the vegetable patch……..

divided by white brick walls……

and a leafy trellis that takes us in to another garden………

Someone was clever enough to paint the strawberry jar to match the features in the garden and the home……….

Marigolds might keep the critters away…

if they are like this big boy…….

and here are large, large, planters, bustling with white…….

as well as here in the terraced planter………..

and here’s a look at the other “whites” in the garden AND you can see how the gardens are separated……..

in the middle of the garden is the pool area. What I liked the best in this garden was the ability to see the entire garden and pool area from any of the house extensions…. We see the pool house in this photo, with it white settees.

and from this view……

This was the inside of the pool house. The color theme was carried out from the black and white in the garden and house.

and this is the entertainment section of the home, where you can see the garden from inside or sit on the porch………

This is a great way to train confederate jasmine on a wall……..if it is like mine, it won’t take long to fill that wire completely in……..

This photo shows the effect of a white garden….. the lattice fence, the plants, the planters………very quieting……

On the other side of the garden was the third entertainment area……….the indoor dining area.

Who wouldn’t want a lemon tree and plates on the wall?

I have to take one more look at the garden before we head out for another one……. This was the most manageable and convenient garden so far!

Where are we going next? All the gardens have been so different! See you in the garden!

What a charming house and garden. Where are we off to next?

It seems like we may never get out of Atlanta, doesn’t it Sheree? A few more gardens to go and then I am off to the Baltics!

What a delightful “fool the eye” wall garden of lemons! Really clever, like the graveled patio table. Some people lay mosaic tile on their glass-top tables, I’ve read. Wonder whether these substances are easier to keep clean after windy weather spells? I’ve been enjoying these Atlanta garden visits with you. One more to go, eh?
