I had a wonderful time visiting the gardens in Atlanta, Georgia! Today, I would like to show some of my favorite things (from this trip) that I think makes a garden……….. A fence with a gate…..rust gives it charm………….the older the better……

A stone design for a walkway or patio…….

A tree trained to be an espalier…….

an exotic looking tree, preferably one in a greenhouse setting….

or a plant that looks like string beans………

An attention seeking garden display…………

I could go on and on with my favorite things, but I could just show SIX, for Six On Saturday…………plus the water feature (one must have water) in my Featured Photo!
Won’t you join us with your SOS?
The instructions for SOS are easy. The photos can be flowers, vegetables, a garden design, whatever, as long as it’s garden related and posted on Saturday! So, it’s six photos. Of Gardens. On Saturday. Easy Peasy. To see all the SOS’s look at SIX ON SATURDAY, hosted by the Propagator, to check out all of them each Saturday! See you next week in another spot!
That was an interesting SoS. I really like the round patio design. People are clever the way they can train trees and shrubs – I think it’s a bit of a dark art, like crocheting.

You have a taste for beautiful things. Thank you for sharing them. I love the stone patio and the rusted garden door. And about plants of course, they are very attractive!

Love photographs! I could enjoy a quiet coffee and a nice book sitting at that little table on the walkway with the beautiful gate and the lovely flowers. Nice “Six on Saturday” share.

All very beautiful! The trunk of the exotic tree is wonderful, and I do like a little bit of rust myself. 🙂

What an interesting collection. Was this all from one garden or several?
