Hellooooo to all the SOS’ers! I have been traveling for a month in the Baltics and Norway and other spots too! What a great time we had and of course, I was always on the lookout for great flowers and gardens! We were not disappointed! So, here is a snippet of what we started off with! Enjoy!
First we traveled to Stockholm and stayed there for a few days before we boarded the ship, Explorer. One of the most popular shops, in Stockholm, was the Cafe Schweizer, which specialized in fresh squeezed orange juice! Not only were there bags and bags of orange peels in front of the shop to get your attention, the inside was decorated with flowers everywhere, including the ceiling! Oh, and you could leave your own personal mark of graffiti on the wall too!

Boarding the ship in Stockholm, our first stop was Tallinn, Estonia………….Here we are parked and what a welcome we got here, a ship of marigolds!

This is one of my favorite photos of flowers in Tallinn! I like the way you could see the woman in the cafe, the reflection of the folks in the street, AND the geraniums in that fancy planter!

Now, for a view of one of the outdoor seating areas in Tallinn. Petunias anyone?

I loved the Farm Shops! The Farm Look is everywhere now, isn’t it? Maybe I am drawn to these shops because I like that style! Another good reflection photo! A plant on the table and the table in the window reflection! A two-for-one!

I wanted to show one more ship and flower photo. This photo was taken on our stop in Kristiansand, Norway!

I have lots of photos of plants and gardens and scenic views from this trip……..I can’t wait to show you! I will also be writing posts on each stop and many of those stops will feature florals too…….So stay tuned!
Won’t you join us with your SOS?
The instructions for SOS are easy. The photos can be flowers, vegetables, a garden design, whatever, as long as it’s garden related and posted on Saturday! So, it’s six photos. Of Gardens. On Saturday. Easy Peasy. To see all the SOS’s look at SIX ON SATURDAY, hosted by the Propagator, to check out all of them each Saturday! See you next week in another spot!
Thanks for sharing these photos. I feel I’ve practically been on that lovely ship with you! That Stockholm cafe is enticing.

More to come in Tallinn! It was magical! If I could go anywhere for a Christmas Market this would be the stop!

The Stockholm café must have had a very orangey perfume! Tallinn is a place I’d like to visit, thanks for sharing the photos.
