Good Mornin SOSer’s! This morning I am on a quick walk through in my garden……..just showing what’s blooming right now! It has been hot and hotter here!
First, a ground level view of the lavender……….

Then drifting in the breeze surrounding the entire cottage is the fragrance of the Confederate Jasmine…….the trellis is covered in thick, thick blossoms! I wish I had scratch and smell for you!

Walking to the Woodland Garden, the Oak Leaf Hydrangea are in full bloom!

Here are the petals up close!

This plant has bloomed profusely this year……I don’t remember it from last year…..looking through my plants book……it kinda, but not quite, looks like a Purple Glaze Illicium. I do have one in my garden ( I have the tag) but not one plant that looks like the tag photo! But, this plant looks similar to the photo, but much taller and bigger and with beautiful pink, wispy flowers! Of course, it is the plant that everyone is asking me about when they come to the garden!

But, my isn’t it beautiful! A keeper for sure, whatever it is!

I hope you have enjoyed my garden today! I’m now off to the Saturday Market!
The instructions for SOS are easy. The photos can be flowers, vegetables, a garden design, whatever, as long as it’s garden related and posted on Saturday! So, its six photos. Of Gardens. On Saturday. Easy Peasy. To see all the SOS’s look at SIX ON SATURDAY, hosted by the Propagator, to check out all of them each Saturday! See you next week!
Just lovely, Cady! I’m taken with the Jasmine and especially the Illicium. I’ll have to go check if the variety Of Some Kind might frow in wet Irish conditions!

That jasmine is stunning in form, though I might find the scent a little overpowering. My hydrangea are gazing in awe- how did you get that big??? 🙂 🙂 Lovely! Have a great weekend, Cady!

Your garden looks beautiful. Wishing I’d gone for the creamy yellow jasmine now instead of a white one!

Such a pretty garden. Mine is undergoing a massive change today. It will be awhile before I can call it pretty.

What a joy to take another walk through a bit of your garden. I love the scent of jasmine, so I could wish for a scent feature as well. 😉
