Just One Person From Around the World: Get Out to the Parks

Welcome to Just One Person From Around the World!

This week I have just been fed up with people! Mostly with people in the government or in the Media telling me how I should live every hour of the day………according to their data or such! Are these folks in the real world? Do they not realize that the world has gone on moving and we have been going our own way, because we have to? Nobody else is going to pay our bills……well for most of us. We are making do and trying to keep our head above water and sane, while others are talk, talk, talk! Everyday, the grocery workers show up for work. The doctors and nurses show up. Some of the teachers show up……..don’t get me started on that……Moms go on taking care of their kids, some even working outside the home and schooling them too. None of that is going away…….or shouldn’t…….so let’s continue to support the “Little Guy,” the everyday folks, who continue to make our lives a little easier and joyful in crazy times, that we have allowed to happen!

Feel free to join Just One Person From Around the World  by creating your own post and then share your link in the comments! Also, add the tag JUST ONE PERSON FROM AROUND THE WORLD to your post so it is easier for me to find! Thank You!

Today, we are in Roswell, Georgia! This groundskeeper has been showing up, doing his part to keep the parks clean and safe so we can at least enjoy the outdoors! This is my OUTSTANDING FELLOW of the DAY! He’s doing a great job!

    1. I am proud of the police, garbage collectors, taxi drivers, delivery men, retail workers, gas station attendants, waitresses, librarians, cooks, ect………who have shown up to work every day! I could go on and on. The only people, who haven’t shown up is the federal, state and county elected officials and teachers in teacher unions in certain states! I will continue to celebrate the working folks with their photos! Cady

  3. Good job, both you and the gentleman with the beard. I appreciate the risks that people like him take every day. Being around people so often, I hope that he keeps himself safe with a mask when he’s not being photographed.

    Jolly good fellas

    1. IJ the wearing of a mask outdoors for those people vaccinated was lifted yesterday by the GUIDELINES of the CDC. Most folks outside of big cities have not worn a mask outside since last September! If we are fully vaccinated and the vaccine prevents us from giving or receiving COVID (as we have been told) then why are we still wearing masks anywhere? If the vaccine does NOT WORK, we have been lied to. AND that will be a big problem for the government! Cady

      1. There are also vaccines (for flus, for example) which work in most people, but you don’t know whether they work for you or not. In any case, if something man made doesn’t work I wouldn’t assume that it is due to malign intent and lying.

Well, I finally shared one person from around the world, but maybe not appropriate in this scenario. I applaud your choice, Cady. So many people, doing what they need to do to get by, and doing it well! Thanks for sharing 🙂 🙂

Hi Cady – you make a very good point about all the people who haven’t had the luxury of being able to keep their distance from others and/or stay home during the pandemic. It’s great to celebrate people like your groundskeeper who have kept working throughout 🙂 He’s clearly doing an excellent job too, this park looks lovely!

My offering this week is very different from yours but I hope you’ll enjoy it – a colourful dance performance in Kerala and a person who completely transforms himself from start to finish in my post!
