Friday’s Foods of the World: The Nashville Mall

I’m back from a  trip to Nashville, Tennessee and almost need a vaca from my vaca! But, on my travels I needed to do a little shopping in the Green Hills Mall…….. as I was taking a break, I noticed this fella! I’d say he was quite content, but didn’t need to bother with the food mall! He was sitting outside Nordstroms……he had brought his food along with the mayo, two kinds of herbal tea, his own plate and cutlery, and oh, yeah, the mini fan and his ear phones for his music! Just chillin’ at lunch!

  1. I can’t remember the last time I was at a mall. 🙂 Hope you had a good trip and are recovering from it. I know that feeling.

      1. At stores that aren’t at malls. 🙂 I think I was in the mall in Illinois just a few times: several to stop at H&M, once for some tea at Teavana when they were closing the store and another time or two and that was in 7-8 years. Of course I’ve shopped at stores in a strip mall but not an indoor mall like this and I hope to avoid it if at all possible. 🙂

    1. I didn’t realize until recently that there was so much BBQing in South Africa! Was this always the case or was it a cuisine brought to the country? Cady

    1. How very interesting? In Saigon did the service providers speak to you in English? The food all looks wonderful and and appetizing! All three restaurants were very different weren’t they? I think the locations would make you want to go there also! Too bad the “upstairs” restaurant has moved. I hope they got another location with a great view! Cady

  3. A guy bringing his own meal to the mall (as well as a fan) – that’s a new thing 😉.
