Good Mornin’ SOSer’s! No, we are not in the state of Montana today, but we are in the Montana Garden! You will not find this garden in the Gardens to Visit On the National Garden Scheme either! That’s the book that I send for: that lists the UK gardens, the date they will be open and a small description of the garden with the directions to get there! When I visit the UK, I plan all my lodgings around the gardens, that I most want to see. Many times several gardens are available in an area. Most are open on the weekends. To be included in a National Garden Scheme Garden, the gardener must commit at least a year in advance to open their garden on a particular date. The gardeners that own the Montana Garden, travel a lot. For that reason, they had never applied to showcase their garden, because they couldn’t commit so far in advance. This seemed like a real shame to one of their neighbors, because she felt their garden was a must-see. So, when it came time for the garden tour and she realized the “Montana” gardeners would be home and available, she moved the sign from her garden to theirs! That’s how we came to see the Montana Garden! Where there is a will there is a way!
There were beautiful blooms in this garden………lots of texture and color!

and lush…….

Many pocket areas that you could enjoy, depending on your mood………the deep shade garden……

There were many features hidden in the trees and hanging from forlorn branches……there were discoveries to be found in all the little garden areas.

Including the Zen Garden……

I had many, many many photos from this garden, but today it’s the SIX! I hope you have enjoyed the Montana Garden and once things are fully opened up, if you are in the UK, you can enjoy exploring all their wonderful gardens! I certainly do!
The instructions for SOS are easy. The photos can be flowers, vegetables, a garden design, whatever, as long as it’s garden related and posted on Saturday! So, its six photos. Of Gardens. On Saturday. Easy Peasy. To see all the SOS’s look at SIX ON SATURDAY, hosted by the Propagator, to check out all of them each Saturday! See you next week!
Lovely garden. 😊

So many beautiful plants! Have you been to the patio festival in Cordoba? If not it’s well worth a visit. We went the week after the main festival and the majority of patios were still open. I’m glad we never went in the main crush because even when we went you had to queue to get in but it was well worth it.
