My crocuses and other spring bulbs are just green shoots at present, looking forward to the next couple of weeks as I planted hundreds a few months back.

    1. I planted a lot a few years back and then the property groundskeepers sprayed my little postage stamp garden with something and now I only get a few stragglers in that one spot! The crocus I put in a bed in my Woodland Garden are doing much better!

How lovely are they! I had a favourite bank where they used to grow in profusion 🙂 🙂

Any day now, I keep telling myself as I look at the tiny green shoots that are trying to force themselves through the soggy, soggy ground.

  6. I always loved seeing them. I wish we had them here. They’re such harbingers of spring or at least the hope of it.
