You just can’t beat Italian doors! I am always on the lookout for this kind of door!

This trattoria always has a waiting line!

Many of the Italian doors are in buildings that have been repaired and repaired and repaired! Or added on to!

There are many doorways where you better duck your head!

Some doors need to keep you out!

Some doors are right beneath the laundry line!

And even the pigeons have doors here!

I hope you have enjoyed some more of my doors of Italy!
PS, My featured door either has a gift left on it or the trash needs to be taken out!
Follow our new leader, Dan, to see doors from all over the world, or add your doors too, look HERE!
Wonderful selection

There’s so much character in your doors and alleyways, though I know a lot of people who wouldn’t have got past that first cabinet! 🙂 🙂 My favourite shot is that second one. I don’t know why but it takes me back to a little Italian place on High Holborn I used to freekwent(!!!). A stand up place with the best lasagne I’ve ever tasted.

That’s a little hole in the wall restaurant in Florence, where the tables are SQUEEZED so close together! Only Italian spoken in this place and it’s where the locals go, not tourists…….one of our favorites!

There is such a different vibe in Italy too. The South is so different from the North!

I NEVER pass up a door like this! It usually gets opened more than once too!

Well, those first doors look pretty interesting. I’d like one of each. I also like the stone building below that, particularly the balcony. The archways and walkways are so interesting. And, I like the pigeons.
