Photography is one of those activities we can all have fun with and blog about, at home, in the garden, walking the streets, in the countryside, in a museum or gallery ….. the opportunities are endless. You can be a wizard or a novice with a camera or a smartphone, or a crafty manipulator with Photoshop, or Lightroom or Snapseed. It really doesn’t matter how you create your image because in the end it is a work of art, a creation, a memory, and possibly a source of inspiration to others. Blogging your images is easy too, few words needed, let the picture tell the story. And, very importantly in these strange times, it can give us a distraction, a positive focus, connect us with others, and build a community via our blogs. So why not join in, start snapping and sharing with me.
Each week I am selecting a single theme to point my camera at or display a few photos from my collection as a way to brighten up the week as we enter a new year which we all hope will be brighter than the last. If you would like to join me in #challengeyourcamera then here’s what to do:
1. Follow me to discover the weekly theme I have chosen.
2. Select a few photos related to the week’s theme
3. Post your own photos that week, any day you like.
4. Include a caption with each photo so we know what/where it is

Thank you, it looks stunning. We have a local park that has sculptures everywhere. Usually they are things that blend into the forest, ponds and grass areas.

Chihuly’s works of art are huge! Some are are over 20 feet…..I would like to know how long it takes to put them together and set them up and how many pieces are broken in transport

Yet another challenge I’m temped into! I’m spending so much time going through my ill-sorted photographs that it leaves me little time to write posts. How do other people manage? I seem to be spending more time on the computer these days than I’d planned when I started with WP, and books I’ve bought and books given to me as Christmas presents are still piled up on the dining-room table, my coffee table and my desk! Where can I buy some more hours?

Maris, you and I seem to have the same problems, when it comes to having enough time for writing or reading! I enjoy the challenges though! But, I need more days in the week for them all, so I kinda float around. I love reading history and yesterday I received a 1000 page book on The Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee for my birthday! That may take me awhile! I have never been to the Isle of Wight either and it is still on my Bucket List. I need to be getting YOUNGER to get everything on my Bucket List done! It would help if COVID was over too, but I have got a lot of chores completed, that I had put off forever! DONE!
