Six On Saturday: It’s Finish Up day

Good Mornin’, SOS’ers!  58 posts later and we are finishing up the first two weeks of the Baltics Cruise! Let’s take one more look at the gardens of Warnemunde, Germany, before we head back to the ship! We’ve had a great two weeks! Remember all the pears, real and faux? They were everywhere!

    1. There were pears EVERYWHERE! Even when they didn’t have a pear tree, in their garden, they hung faux pears on any tree!

    Ah, figs from my childhood! Not these, of course, but the two or three varieties that grew on our Northwest Florida place. I was intrigued by the little pond with a turtle sculpture. Now, couldn’t I replicate something like that in my garden? I already have the turtle.

    1. Jo, I didn’t know what those fruits were! Figs!!!!! Yes, I like taking these kinds of photos to stir my memory when I get home! Otherwise, I forget! It’s the littlest of things that make a good cottage garden!
