You had a lovely time in the gardens of Warnemunde! It’s lovely to have you share your photographs with us. I do love that first tree with the pears. 😁

    1. There were pears EVERYWHERE! Even when they didn’t have a pear tree, in their garden, they hung faux pears on any tree!

Ah, figs from my childhood! Not these, of course, but the two or three varieties that grew on our Northwest Florida place. I was intrigued by the little pond with a turtle sculpture. Now, couldn’t I replicate something like that in my garden? I already have the turtle.

    1. Jo, I didn’t know what those fruits were! Figs!!!!! Yes, I like taking these kinds of photos to stir my memory when I get home! Otherwise, I forget! It’s the littlest of things that make a good cottage garden!

We can all feel as though we are travelling, even though we’re unable to just now.
