I know I have been delinquent in my duty to SOS! I never thought that being in lockdown would keep me so busy! I need a schedule now! I have caught up with the all the things I wanted to do “when I had time,” and I’ve had plenty of that! So, now let’s see some gardening stuff, this time coming from a Market in Schwerin, Germany, where I will be posting my findings about that place next!
I love village markets! This one, did not disappoint! I like looking at the plants that are available in different countries and how they are presented………. I like watching the folks that are shopping too!
One could buy multiple-bloom bouquets in single pots ………..Do you like the brick of the Market Square? I do…….
There was a big variety of plants here too………
Don’t forget to save your jars……..you’ll need them for those blooms!
Do you need a tomato? They look really good! I like the background setting of the buildings too. The Market was tucked into the Square………….
Or, do you want some very large strawberries? You can find them in one of the booths….. They come fresh or ready by the jar!
Well, one never wants to miss a morning Market Day! I can smell fresh blooms! There’s more to come from Germany! See you there!

Wow! The quality of the plants is amazing. Yes, I do love the brickwork too, especially with the moss growing between the bricks. The fresh flowers are very appealing too, and as for the strawberries…. would love to visit a market like that!

Fabulous SOS! I love markets and this is pretty typical of weekly markets all over Europe. You’d love the plants and flowers in ours in Nice.

Sheree, I didn’t realize you were from Nice! How did I miss that? I was in Nice two summers ago and loved it! I even did an SOS there! Are you French too? Someone I could practice my rudimentary French with! Voila! Et au revoir!

Wonderful plant and cut flower selections. There are some rich gardens behind all of these! And, yes, I do like the brick paving of the market square.

I needed the color today! I’m missing my grand-daughter’s graduation from IU School of Nursing today because of COVID 19. All the graduations have been cancelled! What a bummer for them and the 40 nursing students have worked so hard. AND I graduated from the same Nursing Program! Let’s see, how many years ago was that? I don’t want to go there! Ha Ha! Well, she is off to Vanderbilt University in the Fall to become a Nurse Practitioner in Advanced Adult Care specializing in Endocrinoloy, Cardiology and Oncology with a specialty area in Dermatology! Way smarter than her Grandma!

I love going to European markets. While others were flocking to the beaches or other popular tourist sites, husband and I could be found strolling through markets. Your photographs capture the mood and atmosphere well.
