Six On Saturday in Stockholm

I think you can tell a lot about a city by their plants and where they choose to have them. The cities that don’t have them look tired, worn out and very very drab. Not only do the plants and flowers make the cities more charming and welcoming, I think their presence just boosts the city dwellers morale as well. I know if I lived in a high rise apartment in a densely populated spot I would want to have a cheer or two and a touch of color when I went outside. Here are some of the spots of color and green to be found in Stockholm……….     Masses of wave and color here!

Stockholm Harbor View

Not only is the water beautiful to look at and certainly all the boats, the flowers are there for the land lovers too.

I was surprised and just had to photograph this lone fir tree in the middle of the busy residential and shopping area!

Many window boxes were decorated with stand out colors and texture…….

If you read my previous post you saw Schweizers! Is this where they get their oranges? Ha Ha!

Old Town Stockholm: Paganini Restaurant

Any restaurant with plants in the window gets my attention. Peppers for the Italian meals! And rosemary for remembrance……I’ll remember Stockholm for sure!

It’s fun on Saturdays to see everyone’s posts on gardens, plants, flowers and more! Have you looked at your hometown lately? Is it fair or bare?

Won’t you join us with your SOS?

The instructions for SOS are easy. The photos can be flowers, vegetables, a garden design, whatever, as long as it’s garden related and posted on Saturday!  So, it’s six photos. Of Gardens. On Saturday. Easy Peasy. To see all the SOS’s look at  SIX ON SATURDAY, hosted by the Propagator, to check out all of them each Saturday! See you next week in another spot!

    1. Oh, I think everyone would LOVE Stockholm! We only had time to visit 2 of the 14 islands that make up the city! I’d go again in a heartbeat!
