In the beginning there was green…………it’s the hibiscus……..named “Berry Awesome”……….
Then a giant bud of pink came on the scene……..
pink, pink and more pink, ok and a touch of yellow………
Pink Makes the World Go Round
Sometimes you just need a blush of pink……….. like on my “Café au Lait” dahlia……….
And sometimes you find pink in the least expected places….just to cheer us up……….

I love pinks! But mypink dinner plate hibiscus has barely broken ground, at 6 inches high, it doesn’t flower this far north until Sept.

Beautiful hibiscus – I will have to wait a bit longer for our blue one to come out.

My hibiscus is stubbornly refusing to flower this year. I’m not sure it justifies its place. I expect I’ll feel better about it once it does flower.
