Good morning Thursday Door friends! Today we are in Forza d’Argo for our door review……….We have been following the footsteps of the Godfather in Sicily, meaning we have toured two of the villages where scenes from the Godfather films were made. The village of Forza d’Argo was used to represent the Corleone family village before the Godfather came to America. I can say one thing, all the villages,  are way up on the mountain top and remote. So, without further ado  I give you the village! Starting in the newer parts……..

There were lots of potted plants here so I had to get them in too………….

This was the old ruins that at one time was a wall of defense surrounding the St Trinity Church.

You would not want to step out of this door…….

there were balcony doors……..

and make-do doors……

and new doors……

and the St Francis door……….

St Francis had a garden courtyard too……..

Another door with potted plants…..and the shell above it………the way of St James…….

A door to a crypt in the church……….

This door reminded me of one for hobbits……….

This door had a ghoul above it………and the other one, a potted plant in the doorway…….

I hope this one is a Secret Garden door…….

and maybe this pot was in the garden……..what a beauty!

and this plant was perfect for the garden too………

as was this…….

The Number 3 mailbox door looked good……

and so did the very narrow door……

and last but not least, the very peachy-tangerine door……..
