Today, we are in Kotor and if you would like to know more about this beautiful, UNESCO World Heritage Site, look here for the particulars! I am focusing on Doors today! This is my idea of the perfect hotel! Not too big, a place to sit and watch the world go by, and gelato to boot!

And this is the way to shop! In the underground Bazaar!

Or there is shopping here!

Next to this boutique is Saint Anne’s Church…….

Cover your head and shoulders to go inside…..I’d be surprised if she wasn’t reprimanded for her shorts!

I loved the brick. so had to get an up-close and personal of it!

and here is the doorway to St Nicolas Church…..

This gentleman is getting ready for the afternoon bunch………

This building was once one of the eleven palaces in town, now a place to shop!

This is the Cathedral of St Tryphon door..

I’d say that bottle was full of powerful stuff! Because of the color!

And another hotel, The Astoria!

We saw arched doors, square doors, half doors, doors within doors and doors with no doors! Not too shabby I’d say!
What I liked best about Kotor, was it’s remoteness! It would best to be coming here by boat! It is a long stretch of highway between cities in Montenegro! See you next week from another port!
Have a great door week! Look here to see what others are doing for Norm’s Doors!
It’s easy to do Norm’s Doors. Photograph some doors and post them to Thursday Doors on Thursday!
PS All photos were taken on our IPhones this year……..we are traveling lighter!
Beautiful!

Looks like my kind of spot. Thanks for letting me tag along and shop in a palace. 🙂

It’s hard to describe. It’s a little bit bitter. I think you either love it or hate it. I love it 😁.

Wow, great doors and such a charming ancient-looking town. Just my kind of place to spend a day or two exploring. And now you have me craving an Aperol Spritz as well 🙂
