Thursday Doors: Cannes, France

Cannes was a big surprise for me. I thought it would be a large metropolitan city and very busy……..I was totally wrong. Loved the tiny streets, the promenade, the boats!  Here are the beautiful doors from Cannes! With more flowers of course………Enjoy!

Here the doors are seen in the motif on the wall…….lights, camera, action……..The Cannes Film Festival is held here…………but not in this building…….a much grander one!

This fountain looks like a toilet bowl to me……but there is a door in the background……………..

  1. Not my preconceived notions of Cannes, either, but brings to mind quaint villages in Provence.

Not exactly what I would be expecting either. Looks like an interesting mix of modern buildings and lots of grand old architecture. You found some impressive doors here 🙂

Love the Paul door! I don’t remember a single Paul establishment when I was in Paris several years back. I love to visit the one in Northern Virginia whenever I get the chance. Great patisserie and cannot imagine how I missed THAT one!
