It was our last day in Barcelona and we had a lovely breakfast in one of the outdoor restaurants (one that was nestled in a mass of jungle-looking vegetation) at the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel. We have met some of the other guests that will also be boarding the bus to take us to the ship. We are from all over; India, Australia, the UK and the US. It is always so much fun to meet up with people from all over the world. But, before we leave this fabulous property let’s stroll through the gardens one last time……..

First through the olive groves……..

Here we can sit and just take in the lovely fresh air……..

Then we came across the statuary………..

And the Witch……..I couldn’t find out anything about her, but she was very impressive.

Will we need to put down breadcrumbs to get back to the hotel?

No, just follow the sidewalk………….

Back to civilization………The Beauty Truck folks on the property offer massages on the grounds in small trailers and outdoors, in case you don’t want to walk all the way to the fitness center……………..

One last chance for a glass of vino or two……after breakfast. I must be on vacation! For all of you creative folks, this is what you can do with wine crates!
