#RoofSquares: A Garden on the 55th Floor

This is my first entry for Becky’s Square Challenge. This month, the square photo should be of a roof of some kind! That really is the only guideline to the Challenge: the photo needs to be a square and follow the Theme………..

A few weeks ago I attended The Secret Gardens of the Fourth Ward in Charlotte, North Carolina. One of the gardens was on a very fancy, high rise apartment complex, The Vue, much to my surprise! This is the tallest building between New York City and Miami! The views from The Vue of the Charlotte skyline were spectacular! It was worth seeing, just to ride the elevator up! One big swoosh and non-stop you’re there!

You could sit outside or inside………….There is a pool area, and barbecue area and tennis courts outside. Of course, lots of seating to just hang out was to be found, and there were some plants, mostly in pots. And there was a large kitchen for entertaining with plenty of cozy seating inside and views in four directions.  There is also a Bar on this level…..for tenants only! I think the garden aspect was the view!

Those views were great!

And you could see the NFL stadium and the baseball stadium!

I hope you have enjoyed my Square for the Month. Won’t you join in with your Square today? See you soon!

I’ve found it that’s what counts. And I will check all the tags properly at weekend as could easily be me.
