Since I’ve been baking, cooking, wrapping, and shopping a lot lately I thought I should share some more food photos to keep my energy up! You won’t go hungry on a cruise that’s for sure! There were four specialty restaurants onboard the Regent Explorer and we were served like kings and queens! Take a look for yourselves! First a word about the dishes, as in plates…….. they were all made by Versace and I had to laugh, because just like the good plates at my house, we look at the fine tableware, but we don’t eat off of it. All the beautiful dishware was whisked off the table after we ordered our meals and our food was served on everyday white china! Let’s stroll through the restaurants!

It’s hard to imagine, but those lampshades are about three feet wide!!!!

These big turning, prayer wheels were outside the Pacific Rim Restaurant.

The food was excellent and so was the presentation……

Chartreuse was the French restaurant aboard the ship!

Even the daily fresh flowers matched the themes of the restaurants…….

When at sea, if it’s Sunday, there’s a Sunday Brunch! Oh, what to choose!

And there are the ice sculptures and that bird made from fruit!

And then there was the Drinks Table, just to show what we were drinking for three weeks while learning about the different wines of France, Portugal and Spain!

And there was the Steakhouse, Prime 7………..yummmmmmmm!

At the end of the meal desserts were served with coffee in a silver pot!

The Compass Rose plates were my favorite!

Sette Mari, the Italian Restaurant, had my favorite foods!

Everyday after returning from our excursions we had a routine…….. go to the Coffee Bar for a Latte, Mocha, Iced Drink or nibbles. Following that we made our way to the Observation Lounge to play Trivia while feasting at High Tea! Everyday there was a new “theme” for High Tea!

We had a grand time listening to piano music and having drinks with cupcakes…….. on Cupcake High Tea……

and with the fancy desserts on Fancy Dessert High Tea…..

And cheesecakes and macaroons on Cheesecake High Tea………

Always surrounded by fresh flowers……at every meal and feature of the day.

And then it would be time to go dress for dinner! What a life! I didn’t show all the food or all the restaurants because I was taking all these photos with my cell phone and was trying to be discreet! Ha Ha! So feel free to show your your IPhriday photos! All you need to do is use your cell phone for the photography!
The IPhriday Photo Challenge is a weekly feature allowing IPhone lovers (or any cell phone photographer) to come together to admire and share their favorite cellphone photos from around the world.
