Color Your World: You Can’t See The Forest Green For the Leaves and Ivy and Meadow!

Here are some more gardening photos from Great Dixter Manor in the UK.  Looks like they cut a hole in the forest to get to the garden shed, doesn’t it?  Really, it’s just a lovely plot of plants that makes quite an impression! The ivy is left to do as ivy does and I love it!  You can’t see the garden through the jumble of wildness in some spots of this garden. It’s called “getting back to nature” and the original “meadows”.  I know because I asked the gardeners about it. It seems that the gardens in the UK are going through a “meadow” phase, and some of their pristine lawns are being left to “meadow.”  Hmm……. ……     I think I like the lawns better, but that’s just me.
