Thursday Doors: A Man’s View

The Bumble Bee
The Bumble Bee

My husband, ever on assignment to photo doors for me, was in Tucson, Arizona on business and decided to jaunt over to the Pima Air & Space Museum for a look-see at all  these wonderful vintage planes. He thought there were some great doors here and so do I! Now, I am looking at these planes and must admit I do not know one from the other, ( I can see my husband’s look of horror as I name these planes as I see them) as he is out on another assignment. So I will post only some of the photos and wait until I get the official name of the rest! So as a girl would do it…………..

And finally The Big Picture painted on the wall! One of my favorites, it shows where everybody in the aircraft sat!

That diagram on the wall is actually quite helpful. I remember reading Catch-22 and being a bit confused about how these war planes worked, and where everyone sat. It bothered me that I couldn’t picture it properly

    1. I know! I liked that as well because I was never sure where everyone sat!

  4. Nice post; hubby did a nice job taking the photos and I’m sure he doesn’t mind your descriptions as long as you don’t publish his name 😉
